Every utility dollar back to the mission
Fixed fees, no commissions, and numbers your board can read.

Utilities for clinics and shelters come out of the program budget. A contingency auditor keeps a share of any refund; a broker may be paid inside the supply rate. We charge a published fixed fee, and every refund goes to you in full.
What tight budgets cannot absorb
No one on bills
Utility bills are approved by the same people who run payroll, grant reports and the audit.
Board questions
The board asks why utilities rose, and the answer takes days of spreadsheet work to build.
Grant-funded upgrades
Funders want a baseline before an upgrade and the same measure after it, site by site.
Fees inside offers
Contingency audits keep a share of refunds; some supply offers carry a commission inside the rate.

Nonprofit questions, answered
Why does it matter that you take no commissions?
Because a commission changes what an advisor recommends. Brokers are often paid by the supplier through the rate you sign, and contingency auditors keep a share of any refund. We charge a published fixed fee, so our advice is the same whether you switch, stay or change nothing.
Can our board see the cost before we sign?
Yes. Every fee is quoted in writing before work starts, from the same published price list every client sees. The Three-Bill Read is free, and Back-Bill Review is from $3,500 for up to 50 accounts and 36 months. Nothing is ever billed as a share of refunds.
Can you help us report on a grant-funded upgrade?
Yes, with before and after numbers measured the same way. We set a weather-normalized baseline for the site before the work, then track usage against it each month. What the funder accepts as evidence is their decision; we supply the bills, the method and the variance in writing.
Do you design or install the upgrades?
No. Equipment, controls and solar design go to licensed engineers and contractors you choose. We show which sites use the most energy per square foot and where the bills point, so the scope you send to bid starts from real numbers. We take no fee from any installer.
We share a building with another group. Does that matter?
It matters for allocation, not for whether we can help. Where a shelter shares a meter with another organization, we write down the split both parties agree and apply it the same way every month, so each budget carries only its own share.
