What changes a price

These move a quote up or down. Nothing else does.

  • More sites

Portfolios over the listed sizes are quoted per site, in writing, before work starts.

  • More utilities

Each extra utility adds a tariff book to read, so it is quoted as its own line.

  • Travel costs

Travel inside the Front Range is included. Site visits elsewhere are billed at cost.

  • Verification fees

Third-party data verification for a benchmarking filing is paid on top of the filing fee.

  • Monthly minimums

Bill Desk has a $450 monthly minimum; Interval Watch has a 10-meter minimum.

  • Baseline credit

The Peg Baseline fee is credited against your first year of Bill Desk.

  • Refunds we find

Never. We are paid the same whether a review finds nothing or a large error.

Pricing questions, answered

Are these the prices we will pay?

They are where prices start. After a short call and a look at your site list, we quote a fixed fee in writing, and that is the fee you pay unless the scope changes, also in writing. Portfolios over the listed sizes are quoted per site.

Why not work on contingency?

Because a share of refunds rewards finding problems, not preventing them. A fixed fee means we are paid the same whether a bill is right or wrong, so the only reason we flag a line is that it is wrong. Any refund goes to you in full.

Is the Three-Bill Read really free?

Yes. Send three recent bills and within five business days you get a written read of what each line means and what looks off. There is no fee, no contract and no authorization letter, and nothing to buy afterward unless you choose to.

What does the Bill Desk term mean?

Bill Desk runs for an initial 12 months, then continues month to month. The first year covers building the meter map and reading a full year of bills, which is what it takes to see each season once against the baseline.

Do utilities or installers pay you anything?

No. We take no commissions, referral fees or rebates from utilities, energy suppliers, solar developers, certificate sellers or installers. When we compare options for you, nobody on the list pays us for being chosen, so the comparison has no reason to lean.

A 30-minute call and your site list are enough for a written quote.
