Close enough to walk your roofs
We visit Boulder County sites in person, with travel included.

Many Boulder County buildings carry rooftop solar, a green power purchase or both. That adds lines to the bill: net metering credits, a demand charge the panels may not touch, and claims that need certificates behind them. We read all three against one baseline.

How we work in Boulder
Site walk-throughs
An analyst walks meters, inverters and rooftop units with your facilities lead, then matches them to the bills.
Solar bill checks
Net metering credits, exported energy and demand read monthly, so a solar site is checked like any other.
Green claims review
Before a sustainability report goes out, each renewable claim is matched to certificates you hold.
Remote monthly tracking
Bills pulled with your authorization and reported monthly, Boulder sites beside the rest of your portfolio.
Visits, timing and what we need
Booking a visit
Ask by email or phone; Boulder visits are usually scheduled within one week, nearby sites grouped into one trip.
Travel included
Boulder County sits inside the Front Range, so travel is included in every fee.
Visit length
Most walk-throughs take one to two hours per building, between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. on weekdays.
What to have ready
Twelve months of bills, solar production records if you have them, and a signed letter of authorization.
What sites here start with

Clean Claims Check
Every renewable claim checked against the certificates retired to support it.

Green Options Study
Every green power option priced per MWh on your load, with what each lets you claim.

Bill Desk
Every bill, every month, checked against its tariff and your baseline.

Demand Charge Plan
Finds the intervals that set each month’s demand charge and ranks what to change.
Boulder questions, answered
Do you check bills for sites with rooftop solar?
Yes. A solar site’s bill has more lines, not fewer: net metering credits, exported energy, and a demand charge the panels may not reduce on a cloudy afternoon. We read each line against the current tariff and your production records, and flag any credit that does not match.
Does Boulder have building energy rules of its own?
Yes, the City of Boulder sets building energy rules separate from Denver’s, so check the city’s official page for your building. Statewide, the Colorado Energy Office says Building Performance Colorado applies to most commercial buildings of 50,000 square feet and larger, with reports due November 1 each year. We explain requirements; we never declare a building compliant.
Is Longmont different from the rest of the county?
Yes, for electric. Longmont runs its own city electric utility with its own rate schedules, while most of the county bills with Xcel Energy. We read both tariff books, and your report shows Longmont sites in the same layout as every other site.
Can you help us choose a green power option?
We can compare them on the same terms. The Green Options Study, from $6,500, sets utility green tariffs, community solar subscriptions, unbundled RECs, on-site solar and offsite PPAs side by side: what you buy, what you can claim and for how long. We take no commission from any provider.
